Yup, it's a bit complicated, BUT this is the most streamlined set of directions for any dead-end, partial solution out there. I had to find a bunch of partial solutions that didn't really work, BECAUSE there was no button map that helped to show anyone the order of the buttons, thus the order of the number ID command strings to make this work. Not One could explain in enough detail to help the reader understand 'what' they were doing to get their own personal choices to work for their trackball.
